Do I Really Get to Call This Work!? Oh Yes I Do!
If you’re new here, welcome to my world! The land of breathwork, deep connection, and a spirit-rich community. For over 4 years I’ve been teaching the power of the breath, guiding more than 1,500 people across Liverpool and beyond. From charities and private hires to large corporations investing in workplace wellbeing, the journey has been nothing short of transformational.
And yet… some moments still take my breath away (pun intended! 😝).
Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of delivering not one, but two wellbeing sessions for the JD Marketing team and their guests. This opportunity lit me up, not only because I adore meeting new people, but also because supporting organisations to care for their teams mental and emotional health is a big part of why I do what I do.
The team was incredible. Warm, curious, and open to trying something new. For many of them, this was their very first breathwork session, and their feedback was so lovely to hear. One person said: “I need your voice to help me sleep at night,” to which I laughed and replied, “I’m known for helping busy minds sleep!” 🤭
It was such a beautiful moment of connection, and to top it off, I was gifted a pair of ASICS trainers! Talk about perks for following your heart and doing what you love!

Why Breathwork Matters for Workplace Wellbeing in Liverpool
The workplace has changed. Many employees juggle stress, long hours, digital overwhelm, and the pressure to perform. While coffee breaks and team socials are nice, they don’t always give people the tools they need to manage stress in real time. That’s where breathwork comes in for workplace wellbeing in Liverpool and beyond.
Breathwork is simple, practical, and effective. Unlike complicated wellness programmes that require special equipment or lots of time, breathwork can be done anywhere!! Whether at your desk, in a meeting room, or even before a big presentation. By learning how to regulate the breath and your nervous system, employees can:
Reduce stress and anxiety on the spot
Boost concentration and focus for clearer thinking
Improve sleep quality for better recovery and energy
Build resilience in high-pressure environments
Strengthen team connection through shared, mindful practice
Companies that integrate breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness into their culture often see measurable benefits: improved productivity, lower absenteeism, and a more positive, motivated workforce. In short, breathwork isn’t just about helping employees feel calmer. It’s about creating a healthier, happier, and more resilient workplace.
Offering staff a one-off breathing experience is a wonderful introduction, but the real transformation happens when businesses commit to an ongoing wellbeing programme. Regular monthly sessions that incorporate breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness create lasting change. Improving focus, resilience, and team culture.
